Computer Scientist
Position Summary:
JetStream Video is a technology that helps people build visually engaging realtime Video applications fort he Web that go way beyond what is possible with traditional Web technologies.
Our customers are using JetStream Video to build mind-blowing applications that challenge our notions of what is possible with video on the Web.
In this role, you will be part of a focused, energized team that works closely together to build the JetStream Video SDK, identify and implement changes that need to be made to the JetStream Video framework to support new scenarios and workflows.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- BS, or equivalent, in Computer Science.
- Significant experience coding in C++.
- Excellent object-oriented design skills.
- Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality code.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate successfully with both local and remote teammates.
- Experience writing unit tests.
Preferred:
- Experience with ActionScript, Python and/or Java.
- Image processing background
- Know-how in SIMD (ALTIVEC, SSE, MMX), Assembler

Software QE Developer
Position Summary:

In this role, you will be part of a focused, energized team that works closely together to build the JetStream Video SDK.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated White Box Quality Engineer to help ensure the quality of the platform by designing, documenting, developing and executing detailed automation suites for runtime APIs, in functional, compatibility and performance test areas.
The candidate must be able to perform complex defect isolation and analysis, and develop creative, original solutions to challenging problems. He/she should be able to communicate clearly and be able to interact with different functional groups: development, technical support, product management.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- 5 or more years experience in Quality Engineering.
- Windows and Mac testing experience. Mobile and Linux experience a plus.
- Experience automating test scenarios using different languages: C++, Python, Action sript.
- Experience testing programming languages, compilers, and associated runtime API's a plus.
- Working experience with Internet technologies: HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, Flash.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and pinpoint issues at a very granular level.
- Strong understanding of Operating Systems fundamentals (memory management, security, performance, networking, etc.).
- Ability to avoid distractions and deliver against deadlines.
- Able to act as an advocate for both internal and external customers to ensure we successfully deliver on the requirements and expectations.
- Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be proactive about working with others.
- Working knowledge of Flash, Flex, ActionScript technologies a plus.
- Experience working in agile/iterative product lifecycle a plus.
